Overall, you can use Fabuloso to clean vinyl plank floors. But, your vinyl plank floors must be sealed. Therefore, first you need to test if your vinyl plank floors are sealed, using the test below. Also, don’t use hot water, and instead use warm or cold water on vinyl plank floors.
To test if your vinyl plank floors are sealed apply a few drops of water to part of the floor that won’t be noticeable. Give it about a minute and observe if the water drop soaks into your flooring, or beads on the surface and doesn’t soak in. If it doesn’t soak in your vinyl plank flooring is sealed and it’s safe to use Fabuloso.
How to Clean Vinyl Plank Flooring Using Fabuloso
Cleaning floors is straightforward. But, it’s essential to use a tried and true method to make sure it’s easy, and they are cleaned very well. This is how to clean vinyl plank flooring using Fabuloso.
As a general rule, mix ⅛ of a cup (1 oz) of Fabuloso per half gallon (2 liters) of warm or cold water, and mop your vinyl plank flooring with it. Before, mopping your vinyl plank flooring sweep, vacuum, and/or dry mop it.
Start by sweeping or vacuuming your vinyl plank flooring. Then dry mop it if you like. Dry mopping the floor will mean it’s less work to mop the floor because it will remove a good amount of the dust and dirt. After that, make a liquid in a mop bucket or regular bucket with the ratio of Fabuloso to water explained above.
Also having a separate bucket of plain water will make the job faster. Dip the wet mop in the bucket with the Fabuloso in it, wring out the mop, and then mop the floor left to right in a sideways figure eight pattern.

After you’ve mopped about 6 feet by 6 feet (2 meters by 2 meters) , dip the mop in the bucket with the clean water and slosh it around to remove all the dirt and dust accumulated in the mop.
